Elder Wally Coe passed away. Before he retired, he had been a vice president of the General Conference, the president of the Columbia Union Conference, president of the Central Union Conference, and president of the Florida Conference. Jerry Page, president of the Central California Conference, is his son-in-law. Memorial services are being planned for Sabbath, September 27, 2008, 4:00 p.m. at the Mt. Dora Adventist Church, Mt. Dora, Florida. 2. Kurt Allen, treasurer of the Potomac Conference, is considering a call to be the treasurer of the Georgia-Cumberland Conference. 3. 500 evangelistic meetings are being conducted in 30 different conferences within the North American Division using the ShareHim material. 4. Baptisms in the Texas Conference are 30% greater than they were last year at this time. 5. 100,000 programs per month are viewed on the Adventist Channel by people from over 150 countries.
